Addington Ball has recently established a new business working relationship with a highly regarded regional accountancy practice. We conducted a face-to-face meeting with the clients to understand their parameters and the specifics they were looking for in a candidate.
At the part qualified, semi-senior level within practice, it is becomingly increasingly challenging for firms to find candidate due to the severe shortage, meaning a growing fap between skills and job requirements with AI and tech evolution.
We had the tools in place to be able to conduct a specific candidate profile searches via LinkedIn, reaching out and networking with local practice professionals.
After a thorough interview, both client and candidate were eager to progress, facilitating in a smooth and extremely positive outcome for both parties.

Job Title – Part Qualified Accountant
Salary banding - £30,000 - £35,000
Location – Warwickshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and bookkeeping for a wide range of clients, from SMEs to larger Ltd companies
- Completing and submitting VAT & CIS returns, and assisting with tax computations and compliance
- Identifying trends, analysing financial data, and offering strategic insights to clients
