About the Role

If you enjoy being trusted with the numbers and knowing your work genuinely keeps a business moving, this Accounts Assistant role could be a refreshing step forward. It's the kind of position where experience is valued, not micromanaged, and where your contribution is visible every single week.

This is an opportunity to step into a stable, well-run, family-owned environment where quality and precision matter. The Accounts Assistant here plays a key part in keeping projects running smoothly, people paid on time and decisions backed by accurate financial information. With a long-standing team and a recent retirement creating the vacancy, you won't be walking into chaos or firefighting someone else's mess.

If you're an Accounts Assistant who enjoys variety, ownership and being part of a close-knit finance function, this role offers a chance to settle into something long term while still keeping your days interesting.

  • Confident using Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll
  • Organised, accurate and able to manage deadlines without pressure
  • Happy working in a hands-on, all-round accounts role
  • Enjoys being part of a small, experienced team

  • £33,000 to £40,000 salary
  • Stable, family-run working environment
  • Varied role with genuine responsibility
