Role Overview
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors and business sizes
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Supervise fieldwork and coordinate audit teams to meet deadlines and budgets
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout engagements
- Deliver high-quality audit files and accounts in a review-ready format
- Monitor job profitability and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate workflow management records and job progress updates
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within an audit role in practice
- Comfortable managing audit assignments with increasing levels of responsibility
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
- Able to review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Commercially aware with an understanding of budgets and profitability
- Motivated to continue developing technically and professionally
