The Bookkeeper will work closely with small business clients, submitting VAT returns, providing day-to-day bookkeeping services and support in the production of management accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day bookkeeping for clients from various transactional streams
• Ensuring the VAT returns are correct and submitted on time in line with HMRC
• Confirming records are up-to-date and accurate reports are delivered to clients
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts

Requirements:

• Previous bookkeeping experience gained within in accountancy practice or from within an accounts function in industry
• Previous practical knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero or Sage
• The capability to use your initiative, self-manage, multi-task, organise workload, work quickly and accurately to meet regular deadlines
