About the Role
Are you a qualified accountant who enjoys the commercial side of finance, but wants to get closer to the decisions, negotiations and deals that shape businesses?
This Corporate Finance Manager opportunity offers a route into lead advisory work where you can take genuine ownership of transactions rather than sitting on the edge of them. You could already be working in corporate finance or transaction services, or you may have built your career in practice or industry and be ready for something more entrepreneurial.
As Corporate Finance Manager, you'll work directly with clients on acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts, management buy-ins and fundraising. The work is varied, hands-on and highly commercial, with the opportunity to develop quickly towards running deals autonomously.

Responsibilities:
- Project manage corporate finance transactions through to completion.
- Work directly with clients throughout the deal process.
- Support initial meetings, deal structuring and negotiations.
- Prepare financial models and business plans.
- Help identify and win new opportunities.
- Manage transaction risk while keeping deals moving.
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Commercially curious with a genuine interest in corporate finance and lead advisory.
- Corporate finance experience is welcome, but not essential where you can demonstrate strong commercial judgement and motivation.
- Comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and working autonomously.
- Strong client-facing, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Full driving licence and regular access to a car.
- Ideally based within around one hour of the Northampton office.

- £50,000 - £55,000 starting salary.
- Performance-related earnings linked to fees generated once fully trained.
- Potential earnings around £80,000 based on target fee completion, with no upper earnings limit.
