Role Overview
- Manage bookkeeping for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
- Process sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations and trial balances.
- Prepare VAT and CIS returns, supporting Making Tax Digital compliance.
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliation schedules.
- Help clients adopt cloud software and improve processes.
- Resolve client queries, meet filing deadlines and support junior colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
- An established bookkeeping background, ideally within accountancy practice.
- Confident using Xero or similar cloud accounting software.
- Sound knowledge of UK VAT, CIS and Making Tax Digital.
- Organised, accurate and comfortable managing client relationships and deadlines.
- AAT Level 3/4, ICB or equivalent is desirable; qualified-by-experience applicants are welcome.

- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
