The Audit Associate will gain full insight into audits, assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the assignment. This opportunity will also provides exposure to liaising and building relationships with clients, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified.
This would be a great opportunity for a audit professional professional that is currently studying ACCA or ACA and is keen to progress their personal competencies and career, seeking more exposure to complex elements of audit within an innovative and supportive working culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment
Identifying areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes and procedures
Regularly communicating to clients, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified
Analyse financial data, extracting meaningful insights and delivering actionable recommendations
Coaching junior members of staff through sharing experience and advising on technical requirements
What we are looking for:
A practice professional with previous audit experience, studying towards either ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualifications
Previous practical knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or CaseWare are beneficial but not essential
Strong technical knowledge and application of compliance requirements such as UK GAAP
High levels of integrity along with solid organisations skills and ability to communicate to all business levels
