As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Audit and Assurance team, providing assurance services and advisory support to help clients make informed business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members and directly engage with clients, gaining invaluable experience that may not be available at larger firms.

We would love to hear from candidates who are currently working as an Audit Manager, as well as those who are at the Supervisor or Assistant Manager level and seeking a step up in their career.
Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate and business clients
Planning audits, conducting fieldwork with a team, delivering to completion
Overseeing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support
Overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements
File reviews
Ensuring budget and compliance deadlines are met
Assist with the more complex clients and respond to client queries
Involvement with helping to develop best practice for the service line as part of the management team
Assist with projects alongside Directors and Partners.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent)
Previous experience working as an Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor within an accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of audit and assurance procedures, processes and accounting standards
Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in business
Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to work
The ability to think critically, analytically and to contribute fresh ideas
A working knowledge of relevant software such as IRIS, CCH etc
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
