The Auditor is primarily responsible for leading audits, managing all stages from planning through to finalisation. Collaborating closely with clients, this opening will go beyond the standard 'tick box' approach and deliver valuable insights to nurture client business growth.
This opportunity also presents you with the prospect of being involved in accounts & tax projects, providing variation in the day-to-day and enhancing a well-rounded skillset.
This is an excellent opening for a practice professional with considerable audit exposure, either studying or qualified as an ACCA / ACA, pursuing a combination of work flexibility and career prospects. Perhaps you may be a audit professional within a medium to large firm whose career prospects are limited.

Approximately 60% audit focused and 40% accounts and tax
Leading audits, managing all aspects and stages of an audit, from planning through to finalisation ready for Partner review
Preparation of year-end statutory financial statements for clients of various types and sizes
Assisting Directors and client managers with ad hoc accounting/tax projects
Supporting and advising juniors members in the team, aiding their professional competencies
Ideal candidates will be:
A qualified accountant, ACCA or ACA / ICAEW or equivalent, although QBE's with prior experience in audit or accounts within an accountancy firm will also be considered
Technically strong, constantly up to date with adaptations in compliance standards
IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc etc).
