Job Description
This small start up retail business based in Stratford-upon-Avon is now looking for a part time Bookkeeper to take responsibility for the accounting function. The role will be for 24 hours or similar, per week and will be dealing with all aspects of accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and purchase ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Quarterly VAT return
- Monitor and reconcile inter-company accounts
- Prepare and analyse monthly stock records for month end accounts
- Produce monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Budget and cash flow forecast to be produced when required
- Produce monthly financial reports on special projects
- Deal with international payments for overseas purchases
- Processing website orders through the order system
- Provide Director with administrative duties (i.e. arranging travel requirements and booking meeting rooms)
- Provide support to all aspects of the business when required
What we are looking for:
- Excel and Sage 50
- Self - motivated individual
- Team Player
- Organised, use own initiative and multi-tasking
- Accounting knowledge to at least trial balance level
