This accountancy practice is a clear leader amongst other accountancy practices of a similar size with a plethora of high calibre individuals amongst the team. The Client Manager will manage a portfolio of the expanding client base which consists of owner managed enterprises and SME's across differing industries and sectors.
The Client Manager will perform a crucial role in the development and progression of junior members by supervising and evaluating the financial documents prepared, delivering feedback on compliance matters and completing the sign off processes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess high levels of attention to detail in the production of financial statements, developing long-term business relationships with clients and liaising regularly with them by offering feedback and advice where applicable.
We are keen to hear from candidates that are either ACCA or ACA / ICAEW qualified, that are technically strong with the ability to adapt and remain updated with compliance standards and also keen to evolve within a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the full set of company accounts for a client portfolio ranging from owner managed business to limited companies.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on financial accounts produced by juniors members, proving advise and guidance in their own personal professional development
- Assist in the development of the full set of Management Accounts, providing guidance and support in production
- Ensure compliance with accounting, legal and tax reporting in a financial documents
- Developing and maintaining long-term business relationships
What we are looking for:
- Qualified ACCA or ACA / ICAEW Accountant, with prior experience in an accountancy firm
- Robust attention to detail with ability to prioritise tasks and communicate across all business levels
- Technically strong, constantly up to date with adaptations in compliance standards
- Strong IT skills including Excel, any ERP systems experience (Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero etc)
