This well established business now has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accounts Administrator to become part of their large, dynamic finance team. Based in Northampton, the team provides valuable support to the business so you should be an independent thinker who looks for opportunities, loves challenges and believes what you do matters.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly departmental balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of control accounts
- Review accruals and prepayments schedules
- Assist with the preparation of balance sheet accounts
- Monthly reconciliation of control accounts
- Investigate miscoded and suspense items and processing correcting journals
- Liaising with sales ledger, purchase ledger and the business analysts to resolve queries
- Improving and developing spreadsheets to improve current processes
- Detailed analysis of expense categories by type and VAT category for posting
- Assist in the completion of quarter end accounts files
- Posting and validation of journals
What we are looking for:
- ACCA/CIMA part qualified or AAT qualified
- Strong reconciliations experience
- A good problem solver with excellent communication skills
