We are working exclusively with a market leading business within its sector. The company has now taken a 25% stake in a start-up business that should produce double digit growth over the next five years. We would like to hear from part qualified Management Accountants who are now looking for a role that they can make their own - literally.
Based in Wellingborough, the Management Accountant will be riding shotgun with the Finance Director, who will guide, train and develop you both in terms of experience gained and through your professional examinations. You will be able to lay down policy and procedure within the new firm and work first hand with all the key stakeholders within the business to ensure its success.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
- Production and review of the monthly forecasts and annual budget
- Monthly reforecasting
- Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
- Update weekly cash flows
- Annual preparation of budgets
- Reconciling and recharging expenses
- Coding of ad hoc purchase invoices, sales invoices
- Journal creation and input into nominal ledger
- A multitude of ad hoc duties
What we are looking for:
- Part qualified accountant, probably CIMA or ACCA but would consider AAT qualified looking to push on
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong time management skills
- Commercially focused and sharp
- Strong Communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Adaptability
