Job Description

Highly respected organisation in Rugby has an urgent requirement for a finance professional to take responsibility for the purchase ledger function. Starting Feb 25th, the Purchase Ledger Clerk role will be covering while the organisation recruits for a permanent member of staff. So there is a potential for this assignment to go perm.

Responsibilities:

  • Matching, batching and coding if invoices
  • Payment runs
  • Inputting accounting data into the system with speed and accuracy
  • Dealing with a number of invoices
  • Analyse supplier statements
  • Code Purchase Orders
  • Support the finance team in adhoc duties
  • Bank statement reconciliations

What we are looking for:

  • Strong speed and accurate typing skills
  • Previous experience working within Purchase Ledger is essential
  • Computer literate
  • In date DBS form - Advantageous, alternatively must complete & pass
