Job Description

Our client, a global award-winning top 10 accountancy firm, has a new exciting opportunity for a Trust Tax Manager to join the Trust Tax team in their Leicester office. Playing a central role they will be managing a portfolio of diverse trust clients with delivery of tax advisory services to trustees.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds a rapport with trustees and their other advisors
  • Responsible for review of trust accounts to the appropriate Partner for sign-off
  • Review and delivery of tax returns
  • Meets clients demands, keeping them up to date with progress
  • Deals with a wide range of technical issues and client situations
  • Write high quality tax reports, professionally presented documents
  • Meets own financial target set
  • Manages a team of people and is responsible for the appropriate resourcing of staff
  • Actively seek opportunities to attend training courses to develop technical and personal skills

Requirements:

  • CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Sound technical knowledge including STEP
  • Post qualification experience
  • Managerial skills
  • Related tax consultancy experience would be advantageous
