As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior, you will split your time between accounts and audit work, gaining exposure to a broad client base from ambitious owner-managed businesses through to groups turning over £50m.

This is not a narrow, repetitive role. It is a hands-on Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior position where you will build relationships, develop technically and take real ownership of your work - all within a firm recognised for high-quality training and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied sectors
  • Draft corporation tax and business tax computations
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
  • Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
  • Support and deliver audits from planning through to completion
  • Work closely with managers as part of an experienced audit team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Practice experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments
  • Confident preparing statutory financial statements for owner-managed businesses
  • Comfortable communicating with clients face to face, by phone and email
  • Strong Excel and general IT skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Keen eye for detail and a solutions-focused mindset
