About the Role

Are you looking for a payroll role where your expertise is genuinely valued, your career can progress, and you're part of a supportive, modern working environment? This Payroller opportunity could be exactly what you've been waiting for.

As a Payroller, based in Kettering, you will work closely with a wide range of clients, from small director-only payrolls to weekly payrolls. No two days will ever feel the same. You'll gain exposure to a variety of payroll processes, sharpen your technical knowledge, and enjoy being part of a team that takes pride in doing things properly.

If you're tired of feeling like just another number, this is your chance to step into a role where your work has real impact, your ideas are welcomed, and you'll benefit from ongoing training and development. With a modern office space, a friendly team culture, and the chance to build long-lasting client relationships, this is a Payroller role where you'll feel settled and supported.

This role is available to start in January, so if you are immediately available it might not be suitable as you may get another opportunity in the meantime. If you are on notice, even three months, then please do apply as the timings can still work.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payrolls within set deadlines for a wide range of clients
  • Handling pension administration and related tasks
  • Managing all associated payroll administration and filing
  • Dealing with queries from clients, colleagues, and HMRC
  • Processing starters, leavers, absences, statutory leave and pay
  • Reconciling payroll data and preparing journals for finance teams

What we are looking for:

  • Practical knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
  • Confident working to strict deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of payroll and tax legislation
  • Able to carry out manual calculations when needed
  • Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise effectively

What's on Offer

  • £28,000 - £32,000 plus annual salary review
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Employee healthcare cash plan
  • Modern, air-conditioned offices with free on-site parking
  • Supportive training and career development opportunities
  • Regular social events and monthly breakfast club
  • A professional yet friendly culture with genuine work-life balance

Register your interest by applying today or call Richard Davies or Luke Scale on 01926 290 290 to discuss this opportunity further, always in complete confidence.
